Thoroughly enjoyable & "read in one sitting" type of book.

Enter the world of Jennifer Government, Hack Nike, Billy NRA, Buy Mitsui... a world of guerilla marketing, $5000 Nikes & corporatised everything. Read it in a Starbucks or Maccers if you dare!

Thanks for bringing it - been meaning to read it for ages!! Have started already!

Throughly enjoyed this book. At first I was unsure of it - have heard stuff about it and been meaning to read it for ages. Then the story started moving along and I didn't want to stop reading. (am late to set up trivia so must run now)

Taking to meetup to see if anyone is there to pass it along to.

Was passed on to me at the trivia night, just as I was thinking that I'd managed to run out of bookrings to read! Really looking forward to immersing myself in this one.

Wow! I felt like I'd started on a rollercoaster - couldn't let go! Absolutely loved this book, frighteningly plausible and the author just kept coming up with brilliant ideas. The corporate logic was all too real...

Puppymummy passed this along to me at January Meetup, I also got 3 other rings/rays so I promise to try and get to it asap! It sounds like it will be a quick read though.

Read this last week and throughly enjoyed it, like everyone else has said, it is a very easy book to read and get immersed in! It started off a bit slow and I was thinking "where is this going? What is with all the different characters?" but by the finish they were all connected and the story fully understood. It is a very interesting concept, and one that could likely happen but lets hope that it doesn't!

Off to stetar tomorrow!

Recieved in the post today. Will probably start reading it tonight.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this and would highly recommend it. Extremely funny and a really quick and fun read. Given some twisted logic/decisions in corporate boardrooms or government offices, and it's all to easy to see how a world like this could come to pass. There is certainly many John Nike type people in marketing already.

I'm going to have to buy a copy for a good mate who has just started as the Assistant Manager of Chadstone S/C, just to let him know some of the things that could happen in his complex. ;-)

Off to sally906 as soon as I hear back from her regarding her postal address.

Didn't go to sally906 as she was swamped by Mt. TBR already.

Passed onto a non-BCer friend who will (hopefully) leave it somewhere in Chadstone (scene of the Nike-Town slayings) when done.
