Grew up with Erma Bombeck and love her. I find it odd but comforting that I can enjoy her as an adult. She does help one cope, even if one's life involves not having had kids, and not being a "housewife"(I think she'd agree that it does sound like you're married to a house.) Since I got this book several years ago, and have been unable to part with it, I have found that there's a little library near my house and I'm going to release it there. It's full of kids books and the adults need something. Plus, I found another Erma Bombeck and it seems only fair to trade. Did I mention that she is wryly funny?
