I got this book about 12 years ago and have been trying to read it and just could never get into it. Now that they made the movies, I quit trying and wanted to pass the books on to someone who will enjoy them more than I did.

I actually recieved this book from paperbackswap.com, where a lot of bookcrossing books are posted. This book was going to be a keeper for me, but when I recieved it not only did it have the sticker on the inside cover, which I don't mind and understand why it is there, it had a sticker on the front cover AND a sticker on the spine over the author's name. I REALLY do not like stickers on the spines because it will show when it is on my bookshelf. I don't even like the stickers on the front cover, although I have been told you do that so people will pick it up and not think it's a lost book. But I've recieved one other bookcrossing book before and it was in a plastic bag with the big bookcrossing sticker on the bag, and of course a sticker on the inside cover. There was no damage done to this book besides the sticker on the inside cover, which as I said, I don't mind. I highly suggest putting your books in a plastic bag with the sticker on the bag. Also the bag made it more noticeable when I found that one because I didn't assume it was a lost book (as people wouldn't normally carry their books around in a plastic bag). There is a discussion about this going on at paperbackswap and it seems most people do not want stickers on the covers of the books, nor writing in the books (which there was none in this book I recieved, but it seems to be a common complaint about bookcrossing books).

Whine, whine, whine. PBS is a USED book site. Users should state requirements for pristine books or ask before requesting and not complain.
