a very readable and alarming expose of the power of the big food producers and supermarkets. if you liked Fast Food nation you'll really enjoy this... though enjoy is not th right word for realising how compromised our everyday decisions are about what to eat and where to buy it. Quite rightly it puts the politics of food centre stage - organics etc are not just about individualistic health motives but impact upon human rights issues, environmental issues etc.
