3 journalers for this copy...
This was a good read, but probably not Nick Hornby's greatest effort.
Journal Entry 2 by Jassy-m from Perth City, Western Australia Australia on Thursday, August 19, 2004
Sent to felicia-fairy as part of bookrelay.
Journal Entry 3 by emmafiles from Murrumba Downs, Queensland Australia on Thursday, September 23, 2004
Received through bookrelay - I hope to take this one camping next week.
I enjoyed this - although it did have me questioning which side Hornby is on. Should we be more helpful to the homeless, or is it ok to find the good we do in other parts of our lives sufficient?
The world is in a fairly messed up state, and recent election results in Australia and the USA don't make me feel any better. Depsite the fact that this was an entertaining read, it left me with more questions than answers.
Maybe that was Hornby's intention after all.....

Really good, I found myself laughing out loud a few times. It makes you think about where you yourself stand on a few issues.
