This author/series was recommended by Gryffud. Didn't do much for me, but maybe if I had started with the first in the series instead of the 11th, I would have had more background for the character. Coincidentally, while I was reading this book set in the Dry Tortugas National Park (a place I had never heard of), I saw an article in the newspaper about the success of the conservation program there.

I may hold onto this for Gryffud to be released at the next meetup.

Picked up at the Aroma Cafe on 9/14/04. I'm in the process of writing my first mystery novel and wanted to read what was out there in this genre. I came upon this book which is part of an ongoing mystery series. Serendipity at its finest.
