I enjoyed this book when I read it for a discussion at [email protected]. I picked it up from the library swap shelf just so I could release it.
I read this one when it was first selected by Oprah's club. I hope to reread it before the movie comes out later this fall.
Been wanting to read this for a while...glad to have received it!
Fascinating and sad story about the foster care system, even without the mother/daughter relationship.
Really poetic and lyrical language for such a horrifying story, this is one I read a long time ago so I think I'll take it to the local run your toddler ragged indoor playplace and release it there.
