Wow! I had read this book in High School and thought it was pretty cool. I decided to read it again recently and realize why this book is such a classic! A great read. Makes you think about how easily the "mob mentality" can rule when children do not have any structure, rules or adults in their lives. Cool book.

The book is set on an island where a bunch of school boys have crash landed are have to survive on their own, without grownups.
