What an absolutely wonderful series of books!! I've had this one on my shelf for a few months and wanted to get the first before I read it. Thanks to pjmom8025 I've been able to read them all in order. I wild released my copy of this book yesterday so someone else could enjoy it. Now onto the last book of the trilogy...and I really should be getting something done around my house!

I have made repeated attempts for Mamawolfie to journal these books. According to her profile, she is in the process of reading them. However, there is no journal entry to say that she even has them. I am assuming they are stuck with her.

Finished this yesterday and am already well into the third book. This one was a bit of a disappointment for me. It was awfully predictable, and I was surprised by how submissive Ave was while the whole time we're supposed to believe she's headstrong and treating Jack badly. But I did like that we got to know Jack more this time. He developed more and had a personality of his own, which he didn't seem to have in the first book. Still, I didn't buy a man named Pete as a seductive stranger, and I couldn't believe Ave wouldn't press her husband as to what exactly went on with him and Karen Bell. I guess I would have been content to leave Ave and Jack happily ever after in the first book instead of having them go through problems in the second book. Already started number three and am liking it more than this one so far.
