I read Big Stone Gap, and liked it. I read a more recent work of Trigiani and liked it. Figured I should try this, too.
Didn't grab me the way the first one did...maybe it's just my mood, so if I ever stumble on the book again, I'll try it later. The picture here is of the original place I planned to release this book (The freezer section next to some cherry pie). I moved it, fearing the cherries would get frost bite.
