I categorised this book as 'poetry' but it doesn't really fit into any one genre. The author calls it a 'waybook'. I reckon its combination travelogue, biography, philosophy and poetry written in a lyrical prose format. It describes a trip the author took to Canada.
I greatly admire Kenneth White and this is my favourite of his works.
