1986 Harper & Row hardcover, with dust jacket, Book Club Edition of the debut tale of a young mother in a custody fight for her four-year-old daughter, while being involved with problematic erotic situations and feelings that cast her as a grave threat. I found this copy yesterday in the Patterson Little Free Library.
Edit May 11, 2024: This was good, but I just skimmed to end for time. I currently have this ranked at #2110 on my ranked list of best-read books lately.
