Very interesting book about early man.
Many thanks airehead. It will be a while before I get to read this as my TBR mountain just went up by four bookrings. I have been looking forward to reading this much loved series which I have not seen in the UK.
Can't beleive I have had this for so long. Bookrings have been coming nearly continuously since I received this one.
It took a time for me to get into this book book was eventually sucked in at about the 100th page. It is an extremely well researched book about the meeting of The Clan of the Cave Bear and Ayla, a five year old who has lost her family in an earth quake. She is so totally different from the rest of the clan and tries very hard to fit in but is always different. The story of her trials is refreshing and amazing.
Will start reading the next one in a few weeks.
