I got this little hardcover at a local Barnes and Noble. Inspired by the 1910 book Where's Master? By Caesar The King's Dog, in which Caesar mourns the death of King Edward VII, this one features Muick the Corgi wondering where Queen Elizabeth II has gone... {sniffle}
"Where is she? I've been looking for ages now and I can't find her anywhere."
The story follows Muick as he recalls his final visits with his beloved mistress, his searches for her once she's no longer there, and his gradual realization and acceptance of her loss. Very sweet and touching!
