It's a new month... time for some new bug fixes!
While Matt is still working on harnessing the book data that we all have contributed to, and making it available for searches, he's also been rather busy fixing other things, and even adding some nifty little features. Read all about it in this Announcements forum post.

YOU ARE INVITED TO JOIN THE MAIDENS.

The Maidens are Cambridge University's most exclusive society, whose members are selected by the charismatic professor of Greek tragedy, Edward Fosca.

A SECRETIVE SET OF THE BRIGHTEST, MOST CAPTIVATING STUDENTS.

When one of the Maidens is murdered, grieving young therapist Mariana Andros is drawn back to the idyllic campus where she was once herself a student.

THE GROUP FROM WHICH EACH VICTIM WILL BE CHOSEN.

Because beneath the university's ancient traditions and beauty is a web of secrets, jealousy and lies. And when the killer threatens the person she loves most, Mariana will give anything to stop them - even her own life...

Journal Entry 3 by wingrussbaumwing at Cliff Bay Hotel Library English Bookshelf in Funchal, Madeira Portugal on Tuesday, October 24, 2023

Released 7 mos ago (10/21/2023 UTC) at Cliff Bay Hotel Library English Bookshelf in Funchal, Madeira Portugal

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

I read The Silent Patient and couldn't see what the fuss was about so I was a bit hesitant about this one. It was nicely written with good characterisations but as with the last book, there were no clues hidden in the text and no way to try to predict the killer before the sudden announcement.

It was an easy enough read for a holiday but not fulfilling in any way. If the weather hadn't been worse than expected I probably wouldn't even have finished it. I won't be reading any more books by this author.

Left in the hotel library after an enjoyable stay.
