Read this a long time ago. It's the authors's account of his son's illness, the dreaded HIV, in early years when the fear and ostracism was at its peak. It is a reminder of our owns socity's response to those who we have decided are the lepers of our age. I must reread it before setting it free.

Interesting to have just watched "Angels in America", touching on some similar themes - ostracism and being young and facing illness and death. i don't need to reread this copy as i have another! off into the world it goes...
