I finished this book today and I really enjoyed it. It was interesting and insightful. I also liked the randomness of it, never knowing what the next story would be about.

The book arrived safely here today - for a week the postman forgot my address, then today I get three books at once! But the other two aren't rays or rings, so that makes this one next up once I've finished my current (short) book.
Thanks :-)

I really enjoyed this book - I ended up dipping into it and reading a few pages every day, as it seemed the best way to read it - the articles are all thought-provoking, and I needed time to absorb the few I read before reading any others.

I have the address to pass it on, so will be posting it either this afternoon or early next week.

Thanks for sharing!

An interesting way to relate to ordinary things, some serious and make you think, many funney, but still make you think. the way it was written I liked, with many small tales. Makes you look at things in a slightly different light.

will sent on once next person has pmed me their address.

I received this bookring in the mail today. I had totally forgotten I was supposed to have it, so I was surprised. I'll try to start it soon, but I have another ring before it.

I like this book but what somehow disappointed. I really love the first pages where he talks about what kindergarden and life is all about, but after, it was too random for my taste and most stories didn't touch me. For example, I didn't know what jumper cables were before reading this story, so I didn't really care about those pages. It was a correct book, but I'm not going to read the book the author wrote afterwards. Thanks Lemondrop22 for making me discover this author and his thoughts.

I'll be sending the book to a1856 either on Monday or on Friday.

I received this yesterday. Thank you Karin! And I've already started it. It's
great so far! The randomness of the topics is fun, and most of the short tales are very thought-provoking, even a bit tear-jerking at times. The story about the the Valentine's Day box the kids made, and how he takes it out of the closet every once in a while was really touching - especially at the end when he talks about wanting to be buried with it.

BTW, I had kinda forgotten about this bookring, so I was also surprised when I receieved it - I was expecting a book I ordered for my book club. If it doesn't arrive in time, I'm going to take this one and talk about and recommend it!

I've finally finished it. While it can be a quick read, I found I wanted to dwell on each story for a little while to really let it sink in. So, I've now sent it on to kdhnow. Enjoy!
