Reading this book I got a sense of déjà vu, like I read it before. Perhaps I have seen the movie but had forgotten it.

I felt like it succeeded better where the book The Girl With All the Gifts fell short, and that the mystery lasted a bit longer. I was a bit skeptical that none of the students asked more questions. I totally believe it of the main character Kathy, because that was definitely her personality. Others, I can't believe no other asked more questions or tried to break out of expectations.
