This one (partially) suffered another purge of my to-read pile. When it came time, via my current organization "technique," to read-and-redonate, I got through the first chapter, thought the character names sounded familiar (I mean, it's not the first book of its series, but buying books off of the thrift store that's no guarantee), Googled it, went "isn't that the series that had THAT content," googled some more...
and decided my to-read pile was still more than massive enough that I could live without the sunk cost of needing to finish this one.

I make it available for anyone else who is interested in giving it more of an attempt than I did.

Parents took a few books with them to drop off en route to a motorcycle class. They left this at their first hotel for the trip.
