A quick borrow from meganh during the 2022 GC uncon as I loved reading Enid Blyton books as a child. This attempt by Bruno Vincent to give the famous 5 another adventure, falls a little flat and I won't be looking to read any of the remaining books in the series, despite their intriguing titles. Handing back to meganh with thanks.

Caught at the meetup today.

Very, very funny, and quite a bit silly too. I was a bit peeved about Kirrin island being off limits, but overall a bit of afternoon fun.

Sending to an old Enid Blyton fan who should enjoy this adult variation.

Postman brought it today and it will be fun to read while I eat my chocolate cake.

Not for children but young adults. Being a very old fan of the famous five, I enjoyed their faithfulness to each other. The story does teach us not to take things to extreme, no matter how good they seem.

Caught today at Redgum Cafe, very much looking forward to reading it!!

The Five have grown up but are still recognisable. An entertaining, quick read however I am not tempted to go gluten free!!
