This is a great series. I'm taking this book with me this weekend and leaving it at the resort. I'll post a review and release note on monday...

Way cool book. I'm a sucker for cop books and cop TV shows. The posibilities of our nemmisis Tammy Tuttle are seriously creepy. Though I can see it adding fuel to the redneck jokes already floating around since time immemorial. And with our hero sidetracked by his sisters accident , he's a wreck. You have got to love the men Catherine Coulter comes up with. Tennesyon is just a putz and you wind up routing for Lilly to just lay him flat. Simon rocks. 3 cheers for Lilly, I hope she comes back in later books. Sherlock and Savich are just wonderful people and seem very real. Makes you want them for nieghbors. I love seeing their partnership develop. I've read a few of Catherine Coulter's romance novels, and I almost didn't start her FBI series, because while shallow romance novels are just fun, bad cop books are just bad. Her FBI series is incredibly well written and thought out. The steps taken are well thought out and seem very realistic with out being bogged down in anacronyms and short hand speech which I'm sure is very common inside the FBI. I've tried to read other writers FBI books that were so bogged down that reading through it was painful and time consuming, that I gave up after 20 pages. Ms. Coulter's book's are intelligent and fun at the same time. I hope others have as much fun reading it as I did.

I handed it to a lady reading the newspaper in the main lobby. I hope she enjoys it and passes it on.
