This is a chick lit, easy holiday read.Alex and Poppy meet in college and become good friends. She wants to travel, and ends up becoming a travel writer. Alex wants to become a writer, and ends up teaching at his local high school. They agree to go on holiday every year in Alex’s summer break. This books covers some of those holidays, but the final one is for Alex’s brothers wedding and they finally realize they love each other, and want to be together, but how can they make it work, as Poppy does not want to return to her hometown to live.
