I got this ex-library softcover from Better World Books. I've enjoyed all of Slater's books on audio, and have been acquiring print copies when I can. Tony's adventures began with That Bear Ate My Pants! and Don't Need the Whole Dog!. [And his web site includes photos from the books, a nice enhancement.]

As per the title, this one's about the author's wedding plans - to the woman he met during Kamikaze Kangaroos!. And, of course, the book's full of hilarious things-gone-wrong - though given how much traveling the author and his fiancee have done, the opening snafu seemed odd: apparently neither of them familiarized themselves with the requirements of visas for visiting a foreign country with intent to get married. (Then again, all the books feature running series of snafus, so it seems to be the author's mode of stumbling through life {wry grin}.)

Plenty of chaos and hilarity ensues, including some squirm-inducing sequences when Tony takes up "experimental subject" as a career option, having as usual miscalculated as to just what's involved. Then there's the giant bear costume that's part of the book-tour for Tony's first book, the manuscript of which just barely survived several laptop disasters during his previous travels. And the camping tour around England, in which Tony demonstrates yet again his total inability to read the instructions before attempting to work electronical things of any type. And... well, lots more, some heartwarming, some scary, most very funny.

And it seems Tony picked the right spouse - no sooner have they successfully gotten married then they start planning their grand tour of Asia! (See Shave My Spider!)

I plan to leave this book on a bench outside the brewery while stopping by with friends; hope someone enjoys it!
