I found this somewhat-battered hardcover (missing its dust jacket and with what looks like scuffing or perhaps puppy-nibbling along the top edges) at a local Savers thrift shop. It's a "tale of homonyms" with amusing illustrations and a very wacky story, ranging from bickering among the titular animals to scary attacks by a witch and some sky-gods. Not to worry, though - our heroes make it home safely!
