Hannah comes home one night to find her boyfriend has left her, literally lock, stock and barrel. He has taken anything that was his, and wiped her phone and computers of photos, texts, messages and phone numbers. Hannah becomes obsessed with finding him, to the extent where she is in danger of losing her job and her friends. I did not like Hannah as a character, I think I would have said "the hell with him" as he made it quite plain that he didn't want anything to do with her. Hannah has some problems, some stemming from her childhood, and a habit of letting people take advantage of her.

Wow! This was a really good read. I fell into the story immediately. Hannah comes home to discover the love of her life is gone. There’s nothing left of him in the house. The story takes off from there, slowly revealing the plot of twists and turns. Some bits are repetitive but if you were Hannah, you might go over something in your head again. I don’t fault the author on that. Only one thing I kept asking was why’d didn’t she change the lock?! Anyway…I enjoyed the story, the end was a surprise. This was the first book by the author that I read and I will read more. Enjoy future readers, enjoy.
