The Havana Room

The story is told from the mind of Bill Wyeth, a real estate attorney living in NYC. This is a crime novel in which many crimes are committed but there is no one is trying to solve them or even recognizing them. There are improbable characters and improbable happenings but Mr. Wyeth has many interesting observations. I particularly liked his run down of the real estate history of New York City. His views on fatherhood are poignant.
