A series of killings set in 1811 London, when detective work was in its infancy.

Journal Entry 2 by annulla at Brooklyn Heights Promenade in Brooklyn, New York USA on Sunday, April 18, 2004
Released on Sunday, April 18, 2004 at Brooklyn Heights Promenade in BROOKLYN, New York USA.

This was such a pretty day - daffodils, forsythia and azelas are blooming along the Promenade, the sun is shining and it is a warm, lazy Sunday. Left the book on a bench in the sun around mid-afternoon.

I found this book on a bench on the promenade in Brooklyn overlooking Manhattan in April 2004. After that it travelled with me all around the US for 2 months, and then accompanied me in my rucksack to Fiji, Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Hong Kong and Japan and then finally back home with me to London in September 2004. I am ashamed to say I haven't read it, but I just found it again, over two years later, as I'm having a clear-out. I thought I'd log on and see where it came from... Maybe I'll leave it somewhere here in London and it might just find its way back to Brooklyn!
