Felt the need for something more light hearted after a more emotional read and this fitted the bill perfectly.

Peter et al are still on the trail of the Faceless Man, and of Lesley, leaving mayhem in their path. There's a huge operation under way to bring them to justice which involves Peter uncovering a plot which could bring London to its knees.

As usual, this is a great romp of an adventure uncovering some of London's more ancient history on the way. Just what I needed.

Bookworm-lady sent me Rivers of London recently so I went back to the beginning with this series as it was a while since I'd read any. I've basically read them back to back over the Christmas hols. I liked how this one went so far back into the history of London to give a couple of twists. As Cassandra2020 says a fun read after the couple of more serious books I had been reading.
