Walter Benjamin at the Dairy Queen: Reflections on Sixty and Beyond

"Walter Benjamin at the Dairy Queen" is Larry McMurtry's memoir. I have to admit, the first time I read it (for a book club), I had to work to get through it. However, I picked it up again right before the meeting and sped right through it. I enjoyed it the second time around. It inspired my friend and me to take a trip to Archer City and visit McMurtry's stores. It was amazing to see several hundred thousand books - each with his pencil mark in the front cover! I wouldn't be surprised to find some BookCrossing books at Booked Up eventually.
