I read this for school. Its about 10 year old Annemarie who lives in Copenhagen Denmark in 1943 during the holocaust. she lived in a apartment right by her friend Ellen's apartment, Her and Ellen were best friends. Basically Annemarie and her family have to help Ellen and her family escape the Nazis 😊
