Sent to me by Ardachy, in another surprise book parcel. Thank you!

It's especially nice to have Peter May's Hebridean books to release :)

Coffin Road is mainly set on the Isle of Harris - and the Flannan Islands, which I can see from my kitchen, most days. An easy page-turning read.

Released 4 yrs ago (5/14/2019 UTC) at Rubha Buaile Linnis in Isle of Lewis, Scotland United Kingdom

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

Left tucked into the cairn on warm, sunny day. The cairn is on a headland south of the Uig road end, just past the slipway. It was a lovely day for a walk, with views of Hushinish jetty, and the islands of Harris, Scarp and Mealista (unlike in the photo!).

On a cold and damp Thursday my wife and I whilst holidaying on Lewis decided to go for a drive to Uig. We drove to the end of the road. We climbed a hill to look at the scenery. On returning to the car We passed a cairn. I noticed a plastic bag in the cairn which turned out to be this book. Like so many Scots from the mid 19th century the book is now heading to Australia.
