Stupid White Men and other sorry excuses for the State of The Nation, takes a snap shot of America just after President George W Bush came to power in the year 2000. He looks at the people that make up the government and the what the previous government had achieved. He takes a lot at the recounts that took place in Florida plus the general state of America and it's peoples.

I found this easier to read then downsize this as it was a more up to date book and there is more debate still going on about the issues raised. I think the notes and sources at the end of the book are worth a read so you can see how Micheal came to the conclusions if you agree with them or not.

Picked up today at the Nottingham meet. I noted this title had awakened interest on the BCUK list, so thought I'd snaffle this copy!

I was rather disappointed with the book. Although Michael Moore raises important points, for me his style was more rant than humour. I think that he could have used satire far more effectively throughout.
