Okay story. I think the book could have been much shorter. There seemed to be so much superfluous storyline to this one. Was it really necessary to have had Allegra's love Brandon as a character? He didn't really seem to serve much of a purpose in the story other than to be an asshole. Steel could have tightened this one by eliminating him altogether and having her story begin when she meets Jeff.
