I've loved this dark, gripping, often gory & yet humorous series from the start. This book, however, is a bit different from the others as Logan is back in uniform, running umpteen stations & dealing with everything from drug dealers to old ladies with rats in their bed! Its certainly all go, things happen fast & dart from one thing to another & the constant interruption of the airwave or phone sometimes makes it a little confusing but really conveys the hectic atmosphere that he's working under.

As ever Logan is at loggerheads with his superiors & of course battling Steel, who is her usual delightful self! (I had been tiring of the constant reminders of her sexuality but realise for some this will be the first time they are meeting her so will need the background)

And what a rollercoaster of an ending - I swear I was nearly panting with the tension!
