When I first started working in a bookstore I chose this book because it was my general manger's staff selection for that month. Had I known my general manager better I probably wouldn't have read the book. Luckily, I think that his girlfriend probably read the book and wrote the review because I can't imagine he would ever read this book. (He's more the Tolkien, Ursula LeGuin, type...)

I actually really enjoyed this book and have continued reading Jeanne Ray's books and have liked each one a little more than the one before. Julie and Romeo is a great little romance about someone other than your average 20 something character. The star crossed lovers in this novel are a couple generations older than the original Romeo and Juliet.

This a used bookstore rescue and I hope to be able to share this with another bookcrosser.

I really enjoyed reading this book and found it to be a very cute romance. Julie Roseman and Romeo Cacciamani run the only two local florists in town. As long as they can remember, their two families hated one another. They never expected to find love in one another's arms. The hatred between the families certainly posed many barriers for them but yet they can't seem to stay apart. This book was pretty predictable but a perfect easy read to pass away a lazy afternoon. Thanks so much to MandsMom who was nice enough to send me a book from my wish list. I plan to share this book with other bookcrossers now.
