I really enjoyed this, the story carried you along and it was refreshingly different from your average 'heroic' fantasy. The characters are believably flawed and I'm intrigued to see how the story develops in the next book.
I'm marking this one reserved as it would be nice to keep the trilogy together, and given the pile of ring/ray books that have arrived this week, I'm not sure when I'll get to read the sequels.
