My friend has been talking about writing a sequel to this one, I'll be back to let other interested readers know if she does write another one.

I'd forgotten about choosing this in a bookbox. A quick flick through before it gets added to Mt Teebeearrrgh and I think a couple of fellow bookcrossers at my local BC meet might enjoy this one too. Which means I won't let it languish too long unread as it means I can move it on quite quickly.

I really didn't get into this book; I made it half way and just couldn't muster the enthusiasm to read any more. Melody came across to me as a self-serving and spoilt brat of a teenager and I didn't engage with her as the main character. Admittedly I gave up half way through but a lot of the story seemed very forced (novel by numbers is what I think I'm trying to say without being so negative) and extraneous to the story itself.

That said, this is the author's first attempt at a novel, which is a whole novel more than I've written. So all credit to Natalie you're a published author. I just don't think I'm the reader for this book. I'm adding this book to another bookbox in the hop that it finds a reader who enjoys it more.
