The Ecology of Commerce

Paul Hawken sees business as both the source of many of the world's problems and the best hope for solutions. I agree with that, and with much of the concept he discribes of assigning the real environmental and social costs to economic transactions, but had problems with much of the tone and style of the book. I'm releasing it because the ideas deserve a wider audience, and he presents many issues that our society needs to address.
