I liked this book. At times it moved a little slowly and there were also some inconsistencies that confused me (this may be because I have an Advanced Reading Copy and some of that was fixed in the final edition). But, unlike a couple of the other New York socialite books I had read where the characters were totally unlikable, these characters are very likable. They were just enough of a spoof on the New York socialite to be funny but not so exaggerated that you hate them. I also really liked how Plum Sykes tied up all the loose ends at the finish of the book.

This was promised to scout-finch through relay and is heading her way!

Looking forward to a good dash of hot (not steamy, but au courant) chick lit..this being an ARC it's literally hot off the presses..though I know it's a big bestseller now..
I need this to offset my current obsession with mysteries..light-hearted light reading as opposed to dark light reading. Would you like some jumbo shrimp to go with that dark light reading??
