It's a new month... time for some new bug fixes!
While Matt is still working on harnessing the book data that we all have contributed to, and making it available for searches, he's also been rather busy fixing other things, and even adding some nifty little features. Read all about it in this Announcements forum post.

Can we say "JonBenet Ramsey?" From the moment little Calista McQuade is found dead, I realized I was reading a fictionalized account of the JonBenet Ramsey story. It's all there...precocious child, apple of her mother's eye, ends up dead in the basement, no signs of forced entry, & only her parents & brother home at the time. Hmmm.

The story is told from the point of view of Lex Cavanaugh, the estranged sister of Calista McQuade's mom Melanie. There is no love lost between the sisters; Lex gets involved because she gets a frantic phone call from Calista's brother Jared. She is an investigative filmmaker/journalist from the BBC and decides that with her skills at investigation, she might be able to get to the root of the killing, no matter who did it.

It was an okay story, one which really made me feel sorry for the family while wondering if any of them really did the murder.
