I got this slightly-battered softcover from the charity-sale shelves at Hannaford's. I've enjoyed the Foxtrot comic strip over the years, and this collection includes some very amusing strips, such as the one on p. 77 that explains the title. There's sibling rivalry, fantasy geek-dom, and some fourth-wall-breaking here and there (see the strip in which the words are there but the images aren't: "I called Funky Winkerbean. He says the ink's out all over the grid.") I loved the one on page 39 in which super-nerd Jason tries to get out of writing 500 lines on the blackboard as punishment by writing a C subroutine that would generate those lines instead. (The teacher doesn't buy it.)

Then there's this little classic on p. 61: Jason, about to throw a football, tells his friend "Go deep." The friend replies "How can free will coexist with devine preordination?" After a pause, Jason says "Too deep," and the friend comes back with "If Batman died, would the Joker be happy?"

[There's an extensive TV Tropes page on the strip.]
