This author reminds me of David Sedaris writing as William S Burroughs! Tragic. Hilarious. Very poignant and gross at the same time.

I thought the book was really good, but by the end I was skeptical as to whether any of it had actually happened. It seemed just a little too out there. It also seems rather convenient that this writer guy would have such a life that he could write a book about it a la the current trends of Dave Eggers and the like.

I shall be rereleasing this when I get the chance. I'd still recommend it. It is entertaining whether it is true or not. Augusten Burroughs *is* a good writer.
