Perhaps you've heard of "outsider" and "naive" art. Well, this is the same concept as applied to the novel. Amos Tutuola was a young man with a primary-school education in mid-20th-century Nigeria who felt the calling to write. This imaginative novel is the result and it's not quite like anything else you've ever read.
