Received yesterday, thank you! The movie was so good, I've wanted to read that book for a long long time!

I think it's the first time i read the book, although i've seen the movie a few times. There's often threads in the Book Talk forum about movie adaptation of books, and i'd say this is a pretty good one. I found the book as good as the movie - no more, no less (and i really like this movie), althoug it's sometimes hard to dissociate the two - i kept seeing Nicholson's face while reading. I don't know why but i had this impression that the novel wasn't especially well-written - where did i pick this idea? It's good.
