A very, very beautiful book. It is one you feel still long after you read it.
Set in Kerala, India, during the late 1960s, the story begins with the funeral of young Sophie Mol, the cousin of the novel's protagonists, Rahel and her fraternal twin brother, Esthappen.
It's haunting and poetic. Give it a chance, you won't be dissapointed.
