It's a new month... time for some new bug fixes!
While Matt is still working on harnessing the book data that we all have contributed to, and making it available for searches, he's also been rather busy fixing other things, and even adding some nifty little features. Read all about it in this Announcements forum post.

"Nothing links person to person like the frequent passage from hand to hand of a good book."

This is a gripping narrative of the extreme hurricane that struck Galveston, Texas, in 1900, leaving at least 8,000 dead in its wake. I'm reading the audio version, read by Edward Herrmann, an accomplished actor with a grave but expressive voice. I thoroughly enjoyed the telling of the story that includes the life of Isaac Cline, the head of the weather station in Galveston and also the story of the development of the US Weather Bureau. Having grown up in Florida, I always had a fascination for hurricanes. Too bad more historical accounts are not presented in such an interesting fashion.

A wandering book -- the karma of literature!
