I'm ready for a depressing view of the future!
I thought this was bizarre, but I liked it. What eventually kept me reading was that I wanted to know what happened to civilization and then I became intrigued by the future world, technology, culture, and people. I think Margaret Atwood has a wild imagination and I found this to be much more interesting than The Blind Assassin.
I became caught up in the protagonist's, Jimmy's life and his exploits with his best friend, Crake. Snowman's reflections and tribulations were also thought-provoking and kept me wondering. I would recommend this read.
