WILD RELEASE NOTES:
I really liked the beginning of this but my interest began to flag about halfway through after the departure of Dirk Burnaby; it became very disjointed and I had to keep nudging myself to stop skimming.
Interesting background of the Niagara Falls interwoven with a true ecological disaster and underhand dealings; complicated love interests and unusual characters. It's well written though I was annoyed by the many 1960's etc., no need for an apostrophe, it's a plural... The second Oates I've read this month; I did prefer The Sacrifice which was completely different in style and voice.
