I wished I had something like BookCrossing in 1983 or so when I first read this book; I wanted very badly to pass this book on to someone else to read. Now I can! A trip across America that leaves you feeling hopeful about the world.

Just discovered the BC label on the back cover! This looks like a wonderful book, and I could not pass it up when I found it in the Armchair Traveller.
I just found another copy of this at a thrift store, so decided to let this BC book go out into the world now and read my second copy of this at my leisure.
