I haven't read this book yet, but I'm looking forward to it! I've enjoyed all three books in the Emma Hart series and I'm sure this one will be just as good, if not better.

This book is not available for trade...yet. After I finish reading it, the book will go to a coworker who has spoken for it. I'm not sure if she will be getting involved in BXing, but if not, I'll get it back and make it available for trading.

From the website:

"A sweeping novel of money and power, passion and revenge and family secrets that span decades and brings Emma Harte, star of A Woman of Substance, back to life.

"It's 2001, and at the head of the Harte family dynasty is Emma's favorite granddaughter, Paula McGill O'Neill. Like Emma before her, Paula runs the business and family with an iron hand and a velvet glove. However, beneath the surface there is trouble brewing about who should take over the mantle when Paula retires.

"Into this volatile mix walks Evan Hughes, a young American fashion designer, who on the instruction of her dying grandmother, has come to London to seek out Emma Harte. Paula immediately takes to Evan and hires her, but is troubled just who is she and what is her connection to the Harte family? A trop back in time, seen through Emma's wartime diaries, reveals all..."

This book started out a bit dry, the characters do a lot of remembering their past. I beleive this is done to remind the reader of essential plot lines and characteristics, but it still drags along some. This story had some wonderful twists and developments. I had guessed numerous endings and answers to questions in the book, but never what turned or the possible complications of those discovery.
